Eltham north has never been safer for pedestrians.
We’ve finished building footpaths at the intersection of Leane Drive and Main Road, where we switched on new traffic lights in October 2021 as part of the Fitzsimons Lane Upgrade.
The new paving and signals has made crossing these busy roads safer and more accessible for the local community.

Our team have now turned their attention to doing it all again - on a much bigger scale - and are working hard during January and into February to upgrade the Main Road and Fitzsimons Lane roundabout to traffic lights.
