Have your say on water pressure reducing station design options

Back to Newsfeed

We’re relocating a water pressure reducing station (PRS) in Yallambie and are giving the community the opportunity to choose the final design.

A PRS is an essential piece of infrastructure which helps supply water to local homes and businesses.

The existing PRS on the corner of Drysdale and Borlase streets will be moved to Coleen Street Reserve in November as part of early works on the North East Link.

We’ve worked closely with Banyule City Council, Melbourne Water and Yarra Valley Water to develop 5 design options with different fence styles, colours and native vegetation.

You can view the designs and choose your preferred option via the Engage Victoria website. The most popular option will help determine the design of the PRS.

Consultation opens from 9am Monday 12 October 2020 and closes 5pm Sunday 25 October 2020.

Works to build the PRS will start in November and is expected to be completed by early 2021.
