
The North East Link Environment Effects Statement (EES) will go on public exhibition on Wednesday 10 April until Friday 7 June 2019.
Communities will have 40 business days, 10 extra business days than the standard exhibition period, to consider the detailed documents which cover 18 study areas.
There are 7 community engagement sessions planned across Melbourne’s north-eastern suburbs from 27 April.

What to expect at the sessions
Staff will be available to answer questions about the EES and help people navigate the chapters and technical reports.
Digital copies of the EES will be available, as well as fact sheets to take home. The EES will also be available on the North East Link website.

EES timeline
Following exhibition, the EES, public submissions, works approval application and the draft planning scheme amendment will be reviewed by an independent panel, who will compile a report that includes recommendations to assist the Minister for Planning in his assessment.
