North East Link Project is working with Banyule City Council on plans to upgrade local sports facilities.
We’re working closely with sports clubs that will need to temporarily or permanently move to new grounds when we build North East Link.
Millions of dollars of upgrades will keep local clubs playing and thriving during construction and beyond. Binnak Park, Ford Park and Greensborough College are three of the places we’re proposing to invest in new sports facilities.
Conversations with clubs and councils will continue. The outcomes of the planning approvals process for the project will confirm where investments are made.

We’re holding drop-in sessions for the three sites to update club members, casual users, surrounding residents and community on what the planned works and relocations mean for them.
