EES scoping requirements now available

Back to Newsfeed

In May this year, the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning released the draft scoping requirements for the North East Link’s Environment Effects Statement (EES) on behalf of the Minister for Planning. Public submissions were open for 15 business days – from May 22 until June 12, 2018.

The department has now released the scoping requirements. This sets out everything to be investigated as part of the project's EES process, which is the most rigorous and transparent planning process available in Victoria.

You can view the scoping requirements on the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning website.

Queries about the EES process and the scoping requirements can be directed to the Impact Assessment Unit at the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning. Call 03 8622 7633 or email environment.assessment@delwp.vic.gov.au
