The new business liaison group will help support and involve local traders and businesses as we build North East Link.
Expressions of Interest have opened for members of the local business community to join the project’s Northern Business Liaison Group (NBLG).
We are seeking people from the northern area of the project, including Watsonia, Greensborough, Lower Plenty, Rosanna, and Macleod, who have a strong sense of business acumen and are deeply connected in local networks.
The business liaison group plays a vital role in supporting the construction of North East Link by providing a voice to business owners and traders and support the sharing of information between businesses and the project.
With a focus on supporting local businesses and traders, the group will identify opportunities to mitigate the impact of construction, build resilience and retain patronage while we build North East Link.
