The community can get a sneak-peek of the brand new Cobblebank Station from 10am to 2pm on Sunday 1 December 2019 ahead of its opening to passengers the following day.
The opening of Victoria’s newest train station will be celebrated with a community event featuring food, fun and entertainment for the whole family.
There’ll be activities for the kids, including a jumping castle, face painting, roving entertainers and more.
Attendees can also look forward to a free feed and a caffeine fix, with a sausage sizzle and a coffee van.
The community can take a guided tour of the new station and see its features first-hand, including lifts, ramps, lighting and CCTV, car park with drop-off zone and secure bike storage.
The new station is part of the Ballarat Line Upgrade, which will enable much-needed extra services on the Ballarat line.
