We're pleased to announce that Sunbury local and First Nations artist Teena Moffatt has been selected to create an artwork for the new Gap Road rail bridge.

The artwork references and is inspired by the significant geographical, archaeological and geological sites within Sunbury and surrounds, including Mount Holden, Jackson’s Creek the Organ Pipes and Rosette Rock.

Teena’s artwork will be imprinted on custom-designed perforated aluminium sheeting, which will be installed on both sides of the rail bridge, creating a new gateway in Sunbury.

Find out more about the artwork and the process by which it was selected.
