Melbourne's west
Crews will undertake annual maintenance work on the West Gate Bridge, while lane closures and ramp closures will impact the West Gate Freeway as we continue widening works.
Buses will replace trams on Mt Alexander Road as tram renewal works take place for 15 days.
Buses will replace trains on the Werribee Line as we remove the Old Geelong Road level crossing in Hoppers Crossing.
Melbourne's north
Melbourne’s tram network transformation, delivering safer and more comfortable journeys, will continue in the north. Tram renewal works and bridge strengthening works will take place on High Street in Northcote.
The M80 Ring Road Upgrade continues with major asphalt works as part of the upgrade between Sydney Road and Edgars Road.
Inner Melbourne
Buses will replace trams as we complete tram works across Inner Melbourne, impacting routes 58 and 70.
Melbourne's east
Access changes will impact the Main Road and Fitzsimons Lane intersection throughout January and February, as we upgrade Fitzsimons Lane. Closures will also impact Bulleen Road and the Eastern Freeway.
As we continue work to duplicate sections of the Hurstbridge Line to allow for more train services, buses will replace trains on the Mernda and Hurstbridge lines.
Melbourne's south east
Major road works continue on the Monash Freeway, including daytime lane closures and weekend ramp closures as we work to resurface and improve the EastLink connection to the Monash.
Lane closures will take place on South Road at Jasper Road and East Boundary Road, South Road and the Nepean Highway intersection. The Hallam North Road and Heatherton Road intersection will be closed from 20 November into mid December.
Buses will replace trains on the Cranbourne, Pakenham, Frankston lines. Crews are installing and testing high capacity signalling equipment to make way for the future Metro Tunnel and bigger, more modern trains.
Regional Victoria
Coaches will replace trains on the Gippsland, Bairnsdale, Shepparton, Geelong and Warrnambool lines, as we remove level crossings and upgrade stations.
