The West Gate Tunnel Project is moving closer to completion with crews now preparing to remove a 50-metre-high tower crane near the tunnel’s outbound exit structure.
The crane has been vital in lifting architectural cladding panels into place on the outbound ventilation structure.
To safely dismantle the crane there will be a weekend of 24/7 lanes and ramps closure.
