Over the busy summer period, the West Gate Tunnel crews have made great strides in completing asphalting, line marking, barrier and signage installation along the West Gate Freeway.
As work progresses on the outbound tunnel exit, there will be lane and ramp closures to remove a tower crane that has been pivotal in the construction of the tunnel exit.
The crane has played a key role in moving the pieces of the 50-metre structure into place, including the steel frame and cladding for the portal.
