Drivers now have an extra lane to get onto the Eastern Freeway from Hoddle Street

The new third lane along the Hoddle Street Bridge and Eastern Freeway on-ramp will boost capacity, reduce congestion and improve access for drivers heading to Melbourne’s east and north-eastern suburbs.

Work on the Hoddle Street section of the project is set for completion in August, including the installation of new noise walls at the Eastern Freeway entry loop ramp and better access to the Alexandra Parade slip lane.
