Crews have been busy building the concrete structures that will support the new road bridge at Aviation Road in Laverton. Once built, cars will be able to travel over the rail line when the level crossing is removed in early 2020.

Work completed so far:

  • completed the underground foundations for the bridge
  • installed underground infrastructure that will house services such as electricity
  • relocated overhead train equipment to make way for the new bridge.
