Construction is almost complete to widen the M80 Ring Road’s EJ Whitten Bridge.

New bridge sections have been built between the existing carriageways originally built in the 1990s.

The newly joined carriageways will create a single bridge with five lanes in each direction.

Spanning the length of 520 metres, the EJ Whitten bridge is the second longest bridge in Victoria.
