  • A new, separate bridge for walking and cycling over the Western Freeway.

The Gisborne Road/Holts Lane Intersection Upgrade included:

  • new lanes on Gisborne Road at the intersection of Holts Lane
  • a dedicated lane for southbound traffic to access the Western Freeway
  • widening existing footpaths
  • a new traffic island on Holts Lane
  • a new pedestrian link in the north-western corner of the intersection.

The $15.2 million project was jointly funded by the Australian and Victorian governments.
