A range of site investigations, including geotechnical investigations, are taking place to help inform planning and design for Stage 1 of Geelong Fast Rail.

  • The works will involve visual surveys using a drone flying over the rail corridor between Laverton and Werribee.
  • A small area will be cordoned off around each drone launch site to ensure the safety of pedestrians.
  • The drone survey will only collect imagery to be used to inform the planning and development of Geelong Fast Rail.
