We have commenced a market engagement process to gain feedback from the industry and finalise the best procurement approach.

Stage 1 of market engagement

This first stage of market engagement will see registrations of interest sought from suitably experienced and qualified organisations interested in tendering for elements of Geelong Fast Rail including design/engineering, construction and rail systems/rail infrastructure providers.

Responses to the ROI must be submitted in accordance with the information outlined in the ROI Response Schedule (DOCX, 883.7 KB). No other information is to be submitted. Responses to this ROI are to be submitted by email to GFR-Procurement@railprojects.vic.gov.au.

Each successful registrant will obtain access to a dedicated electronic data room that will be utilised over time to provide more detailed information about the project including an overview of the scope for our proposed packaging solution and the indicative procurement approach.

RPV will also seek feedback from some successful registrants on a targeted basis in relation to a number of matters relating to packaging and procurement.

ICN Gateway company registration

Local suppliers and contractors that would not be part of a consortia directly tendering for Geelong Fast Rail can continue to register their details on the ICN Gateway.

These details can then be passed on to potential tendering organisations after the procurement process for stage 1 of Geelong Fast Rail has commenced.
