We've extended the rail line from South Morang to Mernda in Melbourne’s growing north.
We built 3 new stations at:
- Middle Gorge, on Williamsons Road in South Morang
- Hawkstowe, on Hawkstowe Parade in South Morang
- Mernda, on Bridge Inn Road in Mernda.
We also delivered new walking and cycling paths linking the 3 stations and up to 2000 new car parking spaces across the project.
Timeline
Trains began running on the new 8km rail line and the 3 new stations opened in August 2018.
