Overview
We've undertaken planning to inform the Bypassing Shepparton projects, which included Shepparton Bypass Stage 1, Shepparton Alternate Route and upgrades to Ford and Wanganui roads:
- Shepparton Bypass Stage 1 - linking the Midland Highway in Mooroopna to the Goulburn Valley Highway in Shepparton North, creating a second Goulburn River crossing between the two towns
- The Shepparton Alternate Route (SAR) - linking the Goulburn Valley Highway from Kialla West to Congupna
- Upgrades to Ford and Wanganui roads in Shepparton North. Wanganui and Ford roads link Stage 1 and the SAR to the Goulburn Valley Highway in Shepparton North.
Our planning work informed the development of a Business Case which was finalised in December 2020 and provided to the Commonwealth Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts.
