Delivering a green legacy: Lessons from home and abroad

Date: 14 Nov 2024
Time: 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Location: Online via Zoom

A key principle of the circular economy is to regenerate natural ecosystems. Infrastructure has a significant role to play in considering land management, ensuring the land is cared for and resilient.

Join us as we explore concepts of regenerative land management, nature-based solutions, habitat connectivity, and climate resilience, using a Highways England project, Keyn Glas, in the UK as a case study. We'll also look at some of the solutions trialled and implemented here in Australia.

Speakers:

  • Ben Oakman, Associate Landscape Architect, Arup (UK)
  • Leanne Griffin, Australasia Circular Economy Service Lead, Arup
  • Austin O'Malley, Senior Manager Ecology, MRPV
  • Helen Vickers, Senior Ecology Advisor, MRPV.
