High friction surface treatment being investigated for use on road surfaces

High Friction Surface Treatment (HFST) is being investigated for use on road surfaces in accident black spots and high-risk locations. The application incorporates recycled glass which is expected to increase road safety. Each square meter of High Friction Surfacing will use around 2.5kg to 3.3 kg of recycled glass.
