We’re removing the dangerous and congested level crossings at Dublin Road, Ringwood East and Bedford Road, Ringwood, by lowering the rail line beneath the roads into open trenches. We're also building a brand-new Ringwood East Station by 2025. We're making the Lilydale Line boom gate free, and the Belgrave Line will have no boom gates between Ferntree Gully and the city by 2025.

We're heading into major construction in Ringwood, which will mean some changes to the way you travel in the coming months.

Dublin Road

Dublin Road is closed at the level crossing on Thursday 10 August, and from Tuesday 5 September to Tuesday 17 October.

Shops are still open while we work, so we'll make sure you can still access Railway Avenue to support your local traders.

Bedford Road

From Thursday 10 August to Monday 14 August, Bedford Road will be closed at the level crossing and Great Ryrie Street will be closed at the Bedford Road intersection.
