As a part of works on the Hurstbridge Line Duplication, the Level Crossing Removal Project has been working with four shortlisted experienced artists and art consultants on proposed artwork at the Montmorency Station precinct. One of the 4 artists will be chosen to create the public artwork, which seeks to reflect the character of Montmorency and its community.

This report outlines community consultation and engagement undertaken for the proposed artwork in October 2021.

Locals were invited to join the project team, shortlisted artists, and our art consultants for a virtual ‘Meet the artists’ webinar on the proposed public artwork, to gain a deeper understanding about the process of shortlisting artists.

Following the virtual webinar, we invited you to submit feedback on the look and feel of the public artwork proposed for Montmorency Station, by completing our feedback survey on Engage Victoria.
