On Friday 27 August, the Hurstbridge Line Duplication team ran a virtual community session to provide locals with information about the recent design changes to the project due to the discovery of the protected Eltham Copper Butterfly, as well as the upcoming works and rail shutdown along the line.

The team gave the following presentation and answered questions from community members via a Q&A.

The team received questions on topics such as tree and vegetation removal, construction works and the revised project design.
