Town Hall Station is in the heart of the city and a gateway to Melbourne’s arts district, including Federation Square, the Arts Centre and Southbank.

Town Hall Station will have 3 main entrances: City Square, Federation Square and inside the new Town Hall Place development
on Swanston Street next to Young & Jackson.

The Town Hall Place entrance can be reached from Swanston Street, Cocker Alley, Scott Alley or Flinders Street.

The Degraves Street subway and Campbell Arcade will connect Town Hall and Flinders Street stations for a simple interchange without touching off and on again.

Melbourne’s much-loved 1950s-era Campbell Arcade will be retained and upgraded.

After the station is built, a multistoreybuilding including retail, hospitality and office spaces will be built on top of the station site near the corner of Flinders and Swanston streets..
