Works are in full swing on new and upgraded sporting facilities at Greensborough College.

With construction to be completed mid next year, these major upgrades will benefit students, sporting clubs and the community well into the future. Structural works are well underway on the new pavilion which, once complete, will include change rooms that can accommodate multiple teams at once, a social space for clubs and other users, and a viewing platform for spectators.

The new light towers and electronic scoreboards have already been installed, with lighting to make training and playing games easier during the winter months.

Works to lay natural turf on the AFL/Cricket oval has commenced and work to lay synthetic turf on the soccer pitch will begin in the coming weeks.

Further upgrades will include new synthetic turf cricket nets and a new car park.

Greensborough College construction

These upgrades will not only benefit Greensborough College students, they will also provide better sporting facilities for Watsonia Heights Football Club, Macleod Junior Football Club, Macleod Cricket Club, St Marys Greensborough Junior Football Club and St Marys Football Club whilst we build North East Link.
