To create the space needed to build the Yarra Link Green Bridge and connect the tunnels to the Eastern Freeway, we’ll be building addition lanes and a signalised intersection on Bulleen Road.

What you need to know:

From 8pm Friday 16 May to 6am Monday 19 May 2025, Bulleen Road will be closed between Manningham Road and Thompsons Road.

Detour via Manningham Road and Thompsons Road. Local access to homes, schools, clubs, sporting grounds and shops will be maintained.

Once complete, Bulleen Road southbound traffic will shift onto a newly built road, separating it from northbound traffic. There’ll also be a new signalised intersection to manage traffic movements more safely and efficiently.

Access to Manningham Hotel & Club and Marcellin College will be via Thompsons Road. We’re working hard to minimise disruptions to the local community and drivers can expect delays of up to 10 minutes during these works.
