Community Update
New soccer pitches taking shape
We've finished works to prepare the foundations for the new pavilion, with over 45 holes dug across the site, totalling over 360m in depth.
We’re now preparing retaining walls around the new pitches, and have begun laying the foundations of the new natural grass playing fields.
We’re also getting ready to start works on the new 176-space car park.
In the coming months, crews will build the new sports pavilion and continue work on the playing fields. The new soccer facilities will be available for use in the first half of 2024.

Upcoming works
New pavilion
With piles for the pavilion now complete, the above ground structure will start to take shape throughout the winter months. Structural works continued throughout June to prepare for the installation of the pavilion's walls in July.
Soccer fields
We’ll spend the remainder of the year continuing works to form the new playing fields. All 3 pitches are being worked on at the same time, and the natural turf will be laid in late spring, ready for play in 2024.
Improving access
A new intersection on Templestowe Road will be installed later this year, providing improved access to the new facility. We'll have more information on this as we get closer to the beginning of these works.
Drainage
Drainage works around the site will continue for the rest of the year. When complete, the drains will carry water to the Bulleen North Drain.
Changes to speed limits
Please note that the speed limit has changed to 60 km/h within 70m of the site entrance until 30 January 2024 to improve the safety of construction workers in vehicles entering and exiting the construction area.
Please take note of the changed traffic conditions as you drive past the site.
