Extended work hours for the Lower Plenty Road interchange
In order to safely progress critical works on the North East Link Tunnels, we’re extending our evening working hours at the Lower Plenty Road interchange.
What you need to know
Extended work hours from:
Day
7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and 7am to 3pm, Saturdays.
Night
6pm to 7am, Monday to Friday.

From late August, crews will continue working into the night to safely build the tunnel walls, including excavation and concrete pours. Continuous pouring of concrete is required at times to achieve the correct structural quality in the concrete, to meet Australian standards.
