Impacts
As with all major infrastructure projects, surrounding communities may experience some impacts during construction. The Project supports businesses and residents to continue to live, work, study and shop in their community.

Oversized deliveries
There will continue to be large equipment and machinery delivered to the Monash worksite. Most deliveries can be moved on a normal truck load during the day, however there will be some oversize loads delivered and unloaded at night to reduce traffic impacts.
How we will manage our works
We will minimise impacts to the community by:
Maintaining access to businesses during businesses hours, with help from traffic controllers where required
Staging works along Howleys Road and Normanby Road to minimise traffic disruption
Installing road safety and detour signage
Notifying bus stop disruptions at the impacted stops ahead of time
Transporting materials from site in covered trucks to minimise dust
Positioning equipment as far as possible from businesses and residents and turning it off when not in use
Safely removing hazardous materials in accordance with regulations
Monitoring noise, dust and vibration levels.
