Works notification

Nightly road works will be undertaken on Dynon Road (from Dryburgh Street to CityLink) from 22 February 2022 for approximately four weeks. The works will occur from Monday to Friday between 9:00pm to 5:00am in preparation for the Dynon Road widening.

These works, which will include removing the centre median along Dynon Road, will be completed at night behind safety barriers, with lane closures at night. Pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained at all times.

Eastbound traffic will be maintained throughout these periods. A westbound full closure will be in place with vehicles detouring via Footscray Road. Download the notification to see a map of where works will be carried out.

What to expect during these works

Intermittent noisy nightworks.
We will be monitoring these works to ensure acceptable noise levels over their duration.

22 February for approximately four weeks.

Between 9:00pm to 5:00am nightly.

Occasional nightwork lighting.
Lighting will be angled away from residences wherever possible during nightworks.

Traffic management will be in place to guide vehicles safely around the work site.

When the works will happen

These works will be conducted nightly, Monday to Friday, from 9:00pm to 5:00am, from Tuesday 22 February for approximately four weeks. Some Saturday night works may be required. If the weather is poor, or there are any unexpected events, we may need to reschedule the works.
