1 May 2023 to 31 August 2023
As part of work for the West Gate Tunnel Project, we need to close a section of the pedestrian footpath along Dynon Road for 11 weeks. During these works we will be constructing a new bridge connection that leads to the West Gate Tunnel from Dynon Road.
What to expect and when
- From 8pm, Monday 1 May to 5am, Thursday 31 August 2023, the footpath along Dynon Road between Citylink Ramp and Dryburgh Street will be closed.
We recommend that pedestrians follow the detour map and signs to safely continue their journey both east and west of the Dynon Road Bridge. This detour route will add 15 minutes to your journey.
If you live close to Dynon Road, you may hear construction noise during the day and at night. We’ll be monitoring impacts to ensure they’re kept to a minimum, and we will work closely with local residents and businesses to respond quickly to queries and requests about noise.
