Primula Avenue traffic improvements
In response to community feedback on the right turn from Primula Avenue onto Millers Road we will install ‘traffic detector loops’ on Primula Avenue. These detector loops will sense vehicles arriving so that the traffic lights on the Millers Road freeway exit ramp can be activated. This will then create a gap and provide extra opportunities in traffic to turn right.
Works will take place between Tuesday 24 August and Friday 27 August and require nightly closures of Primula Avenue at Millers Road between 8pm and 5am. Residents may notice some vibration and construction noise from activities including cutting the road, machinery and truck movements.
Information about traffic disruptions will be updated on social media and bigbuild.vic.gov.au/disruptions. Signed detours will also be in place.
Hours of work
These works will be done at night 8pm to 5am, from Tuesday 24 August to Friday 27 August.
