Accessing the new Narre Warren Station

We’ve removed the dangerous and congested level crossing at Webb Street, Narre Warren with an elevated rail bridge and opened the new Narre Warren Station on Thursday 28 March. This article provides helpful tips and information for getting around your new station.

What to expect

The new safe and accessible Narre Warren Station precinct features:

  • two modern elevated platforms
  • lifts and stairs
  • security cameras and improved lighting
  • a new signalised pedestrian crossing on Webb Street
  • an air-conditioned waiting room.

How to access Narre Warren Station

Train services

Train services have resumed at Narre Warren Station.

The station entrance is located on Webb Street. Station access via Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road is now also open.

Pedestrians

Pedestrian paths on both sides of Webb Street and the new signalised pedestrian crossing are now open.

Bike parking

Works continue to build a a 52 bay Parkiteer (secure bike parking cage). A total of 62 bike hoops are now available for commuters.

Car parking

If you drive and park at the station, all the upgraded commuter car parks are now open. Access via Webb Street and Rebound Court.

Pick up and drop off

The new pick up, drop off and taxi zone south of Narre Warren Station is open. Please take care to observe signage, use low speeds and watch out for pedestrians.

Bus passengers

Narre Warren Station can be accessed via the upgraded bus bays on Webb Street.

Touching on and myki

Myki readers and machines are available at the station. Passengers can also purchase and top up mykis at the new station ticket office.

Bathrooms

Bathrooms at the station are now open.

The upgraded and modern facilities include accessible all-gender, male ambulant, and female ambulant bathrooms, complete with baby change tables.
