As part of the North McKinnon Centre Level Crossing Removal Project, we are looking to create murals in McKinnon and Bentleigh to complement the new station precincts and community spaces.
We're looking to engage artists to create large scale murals on the concrete containment barriers at both the McKinnon and Centre Road bridges, opposite the entrances to the newly completed McKinnon and Bentleigh stations.
Artists wishing to be considered for one or both the murals are invited to submit an expression of interest by providing a detailed resume (maximum of three pages), including an overview of your artistic practice and up to 12 images of recent work.
We'll consider each expression of interest and then invite a select number of artists to make formal submissions based on a detailed brief.
Shortlisted artists will be paid a fee to develop their submissions and the successful artist/s will be paid an additional sum/s.
Applications close Friday 7 October 2016.
