The level crossing at Scoresby Road in Bayswater is gone for good – the 7th crossing to be removed in less than 2 years.
Scoresby Road was re-opened on Monday after an almost 3 week closure which is part of a 2 month construction blitz that will also remove the Mountain Highway crossing and rebuild Bayswater Station.
Mountain Highway is now closed while works continue and is due to reopen without boom gates on 23 December.
