The Urban Design and Landscape Plan for the North East Link Tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen is coming soon.
Local people will be able to see and comment on designs in their area, including new parklands, walking and cycling paths, improvements to local roads as well as Eastern Freeway upgrades in Bulleen and Balwyn North.
The Urban Design and Landscape Plan (UDLP) will show how the design has already changed based on community feedback including new open space created by longer 6.5km tunnels to Watsonia, a new tree-lined Greensborough Road boulevard, simpler interchanges and a new Yarra Link green bridge over Bulleen Road.
You’ll be able to see the UDLP online, view our interactive map and make a submission on the plan from Wednesday 11 May 2022 until 5pm, Tuesday 31 May 2022.
