We’re asking the community for their thoughts on the recently-completed Waurn Ponds Station upgrade.
We’re seeking feedback from the community and passengers on key aspects of the project, including construction and rail disruption impacts, the upgraded station and the Waurn Ponds community day.
To have your say, complete the survey by Wednesday 31 August. Feedback received will assist us to deliver other rail projects in Geelong.
Following the upgrade, Waurn Ponds Station now features:
- a new second platform
- duplicated track
- an accessible pedestrian overpass with stairs, ramps and lifts
- a new forecourt
- more than 200 new and upgraded car parking spaces.
The upgrades have enabled 20 peak and shoulder peak services to be extended to and from Waurn Ponds Station each week, with 2 extended services in the morning and 2 in the evening on weekdays.
