Train services between Seymour and Shepparton will resume on Saturday 8 April.
Crews have been working around the clock to address the issues which prevented trains from resuming on Friday 7 April as planned.
Trains will commence from the first service Saturday morning and will run to a normal weekend timetable. Services on Monday will run to a Saturday timetable.
Fairer regional fares mean these journeys are more affordable and accessible for all Victorians.
We’d once again like to apologise for the service changes and the inconvenience caused, and wish you all a safe and enjoyable long weekend.
Work to upgrade the Shepparton Line will continue, to deliver more frequent and reliable services for the region and its growing communities.
Due to Metro works, coaches replace evening Seymour Line trains for the entire journey from Saturday 8 to Wednesday 12 April.
You can plan your journey on the V/Line website or by calling 1800 800 007.
