We’re planning for upgrades to two major intersections in Essendon:
- Mt Alexander Road and Napier, Fletcher, and Russell streets
- Mt Alexander, Bulla, Keilor, and Lincoln roads.
We’re exploring options to:
- improve safety for road users
- make it easier for all road users to move through the area
- improve active and public transport connections.

To help inform our planning work we want to hear from you.
We want to know what improvements you think we should consider as we explore different options for the upgrades. Have your say by 13 April 2025.

Drop in to have a chat to the project team, provide feedback or ask us a question. We’ll be in the area at:
- Saturday 29 March, 10am to 12pm at 1101 Mt Alexander Road, Essendon
- Thursday 3 April, 4pm to 6pm at Woodlands Park House, 32 Winifred Street, Essendon.

This project is currently in the planning phase and will be used to inform government decisions on funding for future intersection upgrades. We expect our initial planning work will be complete in late 2025.
