Spend $10 locally and you could win a $100 weekly voucher, as the Point Cook Road and Central Avenue Intersection Upgrade’s Spend and Win competition kicks off to support traders during major construction.
Major construction is ramping up this winter, with significant works getting underway on the Point Cook Road and Central Avenue Intersection Upgrade in Altona Meadows.
Works are currently focused on the east side and underneath the Point Cook Road bridge, where crews are preparing for a new outbound freeway exit ramp that will loop beneath the bridge and connect directly into the upgraded intersection.
To safely deliver these works, the Point Cook Road bridge is closed in both directions until mid-September, with additional traffic changes, lane closures and detours in place through this time.
To support local businesses through this period of change, we’re encouraging the community to continue shopping local across Laverton, Central Avenue, and the Aircraft Station precinct.
From 10pm, Sunday 5 July to 10pm, Sunday 30 August, spend $10 or more in store with participating local traders and you could win a $100 weekly prize voucher (two winners drawn each week).
Simply fill out an online form at a participating trader after your purchase, and you’ll be entered into the weekly draw for a chance to win.
Two winners will be announced weekly, so make sure to stay tuned and support your local traders during this important construction period.
Thank you for continuing to shop local while we deliver major upgrades that will improve safety, travel times and connectivity across the Point Cook Road corridor.
