There's only 2 weeks left to support local shops and help your local primary school receive $5,000 through the Ballan Road Intersection Upgrade's Shop to the Top promotion.
For the final weeks of the promotion, every dollar spent at participating businesses earns 10 points for a nominated participating school.
Running until Friday 31 July 2026, the initiative encourages the community to shop local while major works continue at the Ballan, Greens and McGrath roads intersection.
Every dollar spent at participating shops on McGrath Road north and Ballan Road earns points for a nominated participating local primary school.
At the end of the campaign, the school with the highest spend per student will receive $5,000 to invest in educational resources, programs or facilities. To ensure every school has an equal opportunity to win, total spending is divided by student enrolments.
Getting involved is easy. Simply collect your receipt from a participating business, scan the QR code or visit Shop to the Top, upload your receipt and nominate your chosen school.
The promotion encourages the community to keep visiting participating local businesses during construction and supports a positive outcome for local schools.
Major works continue on the Ballan Road Intersection Upgrade, which will improve safety and traffic flow for the growing Wyndham Vale community.
McGrath Road north has reopened at Ballan Road with left in/left out. You can continue to access participating businesses, including eateries, the car and dog wash and BP, from either the McGrath Road north or Ballan Road shop driveways.
The major works site has now shifted to the southern side of the new intersection, allowing traffic to continue flowing along Ballan Road for most of the major works. McGrath Road south and Greens Road are closed at Ballan Road until early 2027 while crews build the southern half of the new intersection.
