Crews are working on extending Wurundjeri Way to the west, to take it over Dudley Street and link up with Dynon Road. We are also building an extra lane in each direction between Dudley Street and Flinders Street.

Benefits of extending Wurundjeri Way
The extension will provide a more direct route to the Docklands, Flinders Street and South Wharf precincts, by taking traffic off Spencer and King Streets and creating a city bypass.
Once completed,Wurundjeri Way will be widened to 3 lanes in each direction, improving traffic flow along the road.
Short term traffic changes
Short-term lane closures along Wurundjeri Way will be in place and speed reductions will be implemented to keep drivers, pedestrians, and workers safe.
