New stations for Greater Bendigo from next year

Back to Newsfeed

Passengers in Greater Bendigo will have more travel choices from next year.

As part of the Bendigo and Echuca Line Upgrade, 3 new stations will be built at Goornong, Huntly, and Raywood.

Goornong locals will be the first to benefit from the project, with the new station on track to be completed by the end of 2021.

Huntly Station is targeted for completion in mid-2022, nearly a year ahead of schedule, with Raywood Station on track to follow in late 2022. These new stations will give people in these growing communities access to the train network close to where they live.

Each new station will include a single-sided platform and car parking as well as lighting, seating and shelter.

Community members can provide their feedback on the concept designs for the new stations, which show station layouts and other features.

As a community member, you can view the concept designs, complete an online survey or book a time to speak with the project team until Sunday 6 September at Engage Victoria or by calling 1800 105 105.

Your feedback will be incorporated into the final designs of the station, along with information gathered from recent site investigations.
