The Artist Pool is one of the main channels through which the Metro Tunnel Creative Program advertises opportunities for creative Victorians.
Works commissioned via this database include temporary artworks on construction hoardings, interpretation pieces related to the Metro Tunnel Project and activations that align with major city events.
The Metro Tunnel Creative Program is opening its Artist Pool for registrations 15 June to 15 July 2022. The program is open to all Victoria-based creative practitioners from visual artists, poets and writers, to musicians, performers, theatre workers and more.

To date, 226 Artist Pool members have been selected for opportunities. Many of the commissions have been displayed on the Metro Tunnel’s construction hoardings, which are used as free, publicly available outdoor gallery space to showcase works by Victoria's talented creative practitioners.
