As part of the Epping Road Upgrade, we’ve also:
- installed new traffic lights at Park Street and upgraded the pedestrian traffic lights at Taggerty Grove
- upgraded 5 intersections at Craigieburn Road East/Lehmanns Road, De Rossi Boulevard/Pine Park Drive, Baltrum Drive, Harvest Home Road and Lyndarum Drive/Hayston Boulevard
- installed 6.8km of new road safety barriers along Epping Road.
The Epping Road Upgrade will improve traffic flow and travel times and provide better north-south road connectivity. It will provide easier access to jobs and services, including the Epping activity centre, increasing liveability and commercial development opportunities for the Wollert area and make it easier and safer to walk or cycle around the local area.
