Improving connectivity on St Kilda Road
St Kilda Road is one of Victoria’s busiest transport corridors for people travelling to and from the CBD, which is why we made changes to help keep cyclists, drivers and public transport users safe.
Construction also took place under the road to build the new Anzac Station, and a new train and tram interchange has been built above, to make it safer and easier to switch between modes of transport.
We’ve also made it safer for cyclists along St Kilda Road, with sections of new bike lanes on St Kilda Road from Linlithgow Avenue to Dorcas Street, and Toorak Road to St Kilda Junction now open.
