We're upgrading Doncaster Park and Ride and connecting it to Melbourne's first dedicated busway to reduce travel times and improve public transport in Melbourne’s east.
To create safe entry and exit points, and to stop cars driving through the bus platform area like they do today, we're making some changes to how cars and buses will use Doncaster Park and Ride.
These changes will also help ease congestion at the High Street and Doncaster Road lights and keep park and ride traffic off local streets.

What's proposed
A car park exit and Drop and Go zone on Hender Street, away from the bus platform area. New traffic lights on Doncaster Road and one-way access at the corner of Finlayson Street will keep park and ride traffic off local streets nearby.
Cars exiting the car park or using the Drop and Go zone will use the new lights at Doncaster Road.
Cars won't be able to use Finlayson Street to enter the Drop and Go zone or exit the car park.
Local trips
The new one-way access at the corner of Finlayson Street will require some residents to change how they get to Doncaster Road.
