We’re making it easier and safer for you to walk and cycle in the area by building a walking and cycling path along the Ison Road Overpass and a dedicated cycling track underneath the overpass.

Where will the path go?

The new walking and cycling path will run along both sides of the Ison Road Overpass, between Bulban Road East and Browns Road.

At Bulban Road East, the paths will connect to the existing active transport network, creating links between local parks, shopping centres and community areas.

At Browns Road, the path will connect to the section of Ison Road to be constructed by Wyndham City Council, ultimately linking into existing paths alongside the Princes Highway.

To maintain the cycling training routes in the area, we’re also building a dedicated cycle path underneath the bridge connecting into the old Bulban Road.

What are the benefits of the path?

The walking and cycling paths will be open to the public once the Ison Road Overpass is complete and will provide pedestrians and cyclists with a safe, off-road travel option.

The remaining section of road to be constructed by Wyndham City Council will also have pedestrian and cycling facilities to support active transport in the area.

What are the features of the path?

The walking and cycling paths will be open to the public once the Ison Road Overpass is complete and will provide pedestrians and cyclists with a safe, off-road travel option. Features include:
