Eastern Freeway Upgrades – Burke to Tram– Pets of Koonung Creek Trail Competition

The Eastern Freeway Upgrades Project– Burke to Tram - Pets of Koonung Creek Trail Competition (Promotion) is being distributed by and on behalf of The State of Victoria, through VIDA Roads, a division of the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority, an administrative office in relation to the Department of Transport and Planning, of Level 21, 180 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne ABN 69 981 208 782 (Promoter). Impacted individuals of the Eastern Freeway Upgrades (Project) area are invited to participate in the Promotion.

The Promoter is launching a campaign called ‘Pets of Koonung Creek Trail’. The Promoter will choose a monthly winner who will win a $50 gift card to spend at a Participating Store. There are 12 vouchers available to win.

Terms and Conditions

1. The Promoter is the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), ABN 69 981 208 782, whose principal office is at Level 21, 180 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.
2. This Promotion is being conducted in accordance with these ‘Eastern Freeway Upgrade - Burke to Tram Roads – Pets of Koonung Creek Trail Competition Terms and Conditions’. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

How to enter

3. Submit a Promotion entry form via QR code that will be included on posters, construction updates and emails. That will link individuals to an online form. (Entry).
4. Entrants will provide their full name, their email address, their contact phone number, their pet’s name, their pet’s age and upload a picture of their pet via email to be in the draw to win Pet of the Month.

Eligibility

5. The Promotion is open to Victorian residents aged 18 years or over (Eligible Individuals).
6. The following are ineligible to enter and will not be Eligible Individuals:
   1. any employee, contracted staff or service provider of the Promoter or Participating Store; or
   2. any spouse, de facto spouse, parent, child, sibling or any other family member of an ineligible employee, contracted staff or service provider.

Promotion Period

7. This Promotion commences at 9am, Monday 30 March 2026 and concludes at 5pm, 12 December 2026 (Promotion Period).

   Conditions of entry

8. It is a condition of entering the Promotion that Eligible Individuals who complete and submit a valid entry form (Entrants) agree:
   1. to the collection of their personal information and the holding of that information in the Promoter’s database for the purpose of this Promotion; and
   2. to the publication of their name as set out in clause 17 of these Terms and Conditions.
   3. to the Promoter using the Entrant’s name in the event they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
9. There is no entry or participation cost for Entrants to participate in the Promotion.
10. Only one Entry will be granted per month during the Promotion Period .
11. Once a Winner is drawn, any further Entries will be taken out from future draws during the Promotion Period.
12. Eligible Individuals may enter the Promotion more than once provided an Entry is different to any previous Entry submitted by an Entrant.

13. 13 Prize Winners (Winner/s) will be chosen by the Promoter at the Eastern Freeway Upgrade Project site office at 471 Balwyn Road, Balwyn North on the following dates and times:
    1. 11am, Friday 24 April 2026
    2. 11am, Friday 29 May 2026
    3. 11am, Friday 26 June 2026
    4. 11am, Friday 24 July 2026
    5. 11am, Friday 28 August 2026
    6. 11am, Friday 25 September 2026
    7. 11am, Friday 23 October 2026
    8. 11am, Friday 27 November 2026
    9. 11am, Friday 11 December 2026
14. An incomplete, indecipherable or illegible Entry will be deemed invalid. If a selected winner cannot be identified, an additional Entrant may be drawn and substituted as the Winner.
15. The decision of the Promoter shall be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Winner notification

16. Winners will be advised in writing within 28 days of a selected winner and will be provided with details of how to collect the Prize.
17. Winners will have their name published on the VIDA website.
18. Winners must claim their Prize within 14 days of being advised, via a method nominated by the Promoter.
19. The Promoter is not responsible for any costs associated with collection of the Prize.
20. If a Prize is not claimed within 14 days of the Winner being advised, the Promoter reserves the right to draw a new substitute Winner for that Prize.

Prizes

21. Each Winner will receive a $50 Gift card from a local trader.

    General

22. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel all or any part of the Promotion at any time.
23. The Promoter is not responsible for the condition/quality of any goods or services offered by a Participating Store in relation to the Promotion.
24. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to
    1. verify the validity of Entries (including contacting Participating Stores) and Entrants (including Entrant’s identity, age and place of residence or employment); and
    2. disqualify any Entrant who:
       • submits an Entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; or
       • tampers with the Entry process.
25. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
26. Prizes are not substitutable, exchangeable, or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
27. Any additional expenses incurred by Winners other than those outlined in these Terms and Conditions, are the responsibility of the Winners.
28. The Promoter accepts no responsibility whatsoever for late, misplaced, lost or ineligible Entries. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damages whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
29. The Promoter’s inclusion of a Participating Store in the Promotion does not mean that the Promoter in any way warrants or makes any representations as to the feasibility of, or assumes responsibility for, or has any obligations in relation to, the goods or services offered by the Trader.

Privacy

30. Personal information collected, used and disclosed in connection with the Promotion is subject to the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at https://bigbuild.vic.gov.au/privacy-collection-statement/privacy-policy.

    Force Majeure

31. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned (including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion) the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time and to cancel or amend the Promotion at any time without notice.
